• Banzai made his first appearance (along with Shenzi, Ed, Arthur, and Cecil) in a Pokemon crossover in Ash Ketchum Meets The Hunchback of Notre Dame where he was working for Frollo.
• Shenzi, Banzai and Ed reform and are founding members of the Shell Louge Squad along Spongebob and friends in SpongeBob's Adventures of The Lion King.
• They also reform in Perry and Friends Meet The Lion King.
