Ivan was a cranky, no pet policy doorman, but now later, after retrieving the real lost shrine of Zagawa, he kindly lets Ted (aka "17-B") and George back to the apartment. He is the tertiary tritagonist and comic-relief character of Curious George and a minor character in Curious George 2: Follow That Monkey and Curious George: Royal Monkey. He is formerly grouchy, cranky, selfish, terrorizing, maniacal, lazy, murderous, grumpy, comical, and plucky. He is later kind, selfless, still lazy, ignorant, gentle, calm, happy, peaceful, and sweet. He also has the god-like ability to track down any wild animal with only his ultra instinct. He obliterates pets on sight.
