Lizard (Marvel Comics)

The Lizard is a monstrous reptilian supervillain from Marvel Comics, most commonly opposing Spider-Man and the X-Men. He was once a biologist named Curtis Connors who studied lizards, in search of creating a serum that could regrow his missing right arm.

When he was successfully able to create the serum, he injected himself with it. The serum granted him his arm back, but at the cost of transforming him into a reptilian monster that would become one of Spider-Man's most dangerous adversaries.

Trivia

• After the original Lizard, Dr. Connors, was cured permanently from his mutation. Bowser would create a clone Lizard to be part of his army and be an enemy to the heroes.
• The Lizard/Dr. Connors of the Alternate 2010 Marvel Animated is the only known version of the character who didn't reform, even after getting cured.
