- Azusa Nakano previously owned an Espurr, after she shielded Azusa from an attack, she evolved into a female Meowstic called Snowbelle.
- Yui Hirasawa owns a Shiny male Espurr nicknamed "Cheesecake"
- Tsumugi Kotobuki owns a Shiny female Espurr nicknamed "???", Mugi vowed to assist Ben from Team Rocket, and she subsequently evolved into Meowstic in doing so.
