Plot[]
Ash Ketchum and his friends (along with Littlefoot, Cera, Ducky, Petrie, Spike, Chomper, Ruby, Guido, Littlefoot's grandparents, Rex, Woog, Dweeb, Elsa, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Ttark, and Roger Rabbit) join Goofy and his son, Max Goof on a summer road trip, the Goofy way.

- Like the upcoming remastered remake version of Pooh's Adventures of A Goofy Movie, this is an NTSC film with NTSC bits from the Pokémon films, The Land Before Time films, We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story, the Looney Tunes films, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and the Roger Rabbit short films.
- This film takes place before Winnie the Pooh Says Hey Arnold!.
- Bowser, Mistress 9, Lord Zedd, Rita Repulsa, Goldar, Scorpina, Rito Revolto, The Psycho Rangers, The Crime Empire, and Team Rocket (Jessie, James, and Meowth), and the Grand Duke of Owls will make a cameo appearance near the end. They will have a staff meeting after Bowser learned from the Grand Duke of Owls about Ash's secret admirer, Serena, and concoct a sinister plan that will surely endanger our heroes and most likely put Max and Goofy's father-son relationship to the ultimate test. They will later set their most evil plan in motion in the sequel, after coming up in the future movie (The Battle for the Sorcerer's Hat).
- Some of the villains that Ash encountered with before the events of this movie also appear in Ash's dream and in the bonus scene.
- A Goofy Movie was released in theaters in 1995, the same year The Land Before Time III: The Time of the Great Giving was first released directly on home video and the Roger Rabbit short film Rollercoaster Rabbit was re-released in theaters with another Disney animated film outside of the official canon, which is Toy Story.
- A Goofy Movie was first released on DVD in 2000, the same year that Pokémon: The Movie 2000 was released in theaters in the US and The Land Before Time VII: The Stone of Cold Fire was first released on VHS and DVD.
- The storyline continues in Pooh and Ash's Adventures of An Extremely Goofy Movie.
- Yru17 originally planned to re-edit a separate Land Before Time crossover with A Goofy Movie, but he retired from re-editing anymore crossovers, so Daniel Esposito will guest star Littlefoot and his friends in this film instead.
- Spike, Guido, and PJ are voiced by Rob Paulsen.
- The reason why Roger Rabbit is guest starring in this film and its mixed crossover sequel is because Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa's Adventures of A Goofy Movie and Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa's Adventures of An Extremely Goofy Movie were both made before Roger Rabbit would even have the chance to join the Jungle Adventure Crew.
- Serena makes a cameo in Ash's dream, mention when Ash talks to Max and appears and bonus scene when Serena sends a letter to Ash.
- Despite Principal Mazar being the main antagonist in the original film, Bowser is the overarching main antagonist of the Winnie the Pooh/Pokémon crossovers of the Goofy Movie series.
