In the anime, Ash's Sliggoo evolved into a Goodra. Ash kept Goodra for a while until he released it so it can live with its friends in the marshlands. However, when Ash got all eight badges and entered the Lumiose Conference, Ash decided to have Goodra rejoin his team. After the Kalos League and the Team Flare crisis ended, Team Robot gives Goodra a communicator so whenever they need them, they will call it.
Yui Hirasawa owns a female Goodra nicknamed "Huggy", which evolved from Sliggoo while using Rain Dance, it was officially confirmed female after Ui mentioned it being female.
Lilo owns a male Goodra nicknamed "Cuddles", having it evolved from her Sliggoo. he has a habit of hugging people, that was the reason Lilo named it Cuddles.
