Benny, Leo and Johnny's Adventures of Steamboat Willie is the first mini-episode in the Benny, Leo and Johnny Adventure series. It was written by Startanica and premiered on YouTube on May 13, 2011.
Plot[]
Benny, Leo, Johnny, Rae, Alex, Simba and Nala feel the need to get away from their adventure teams for a while, so they take a personal vacation back in time to 1928 toon town, where they meet the soon-to-be-famous Mickey Mouse on the Captain Pete's Steamboat. They also meet Mickey's girl friend, Minnie. Together, they throw a party on deck until an annoyed Captain Pete comes down and puts a damper on everyone's fun.
Trivia[]
- This will be the first Benny, Leo and Johnny's Adventure episode to be done entirely in black and white (even the intro). Also, all of the audio was converted to simulate an old mono-sound system.
- Clips of everyone dancing replace the shots of Mickey abusing some of the animals on the steamboat.
- Benny and Rae provide the voices of Mickey and Minnie, respectively. Benny voices Mickey before on Mickey's House of Villains (A LionKingHeartFantasyFilms Crossover).
- "Steamboat Willie" was the first cartoon with sycronized sound. Although this is also the first cartoon to debut Mickey Mouse, two silent cartoons starring everyone's beloved mouse were made before "Steamboat Willie." They were "Plane Crazy" and "Gallopin' Gaucho."
- The Time Omnitrix is revealed to have an emergency reset mode that allows the Fantasy Adventure Crew to return to the exact time that they left.
