Shadowcat (Kitty Pryde)

The youngest person to join the X-Men, Kitty received her first codename, Sprite, from Storm. Professor X also suggested the codename Ariel, which Kitty adopted for a short time prior to becoming Shadowcat. She is a new recruit of the team and is initially frightened of Nightcrawler, due to his demonic appearance. She and Nightcrawler later succeed in defeating Magneto. Once Nightcrawler seemingly dies as a result of having apparently sacrificed himself, Kitty begins to cry until discovering that he is alive and is met with positive relations by her teammates, except Wolverine. Until months later, she was gladly accepted as a member of the X-Men after showing great potential to Wolverine.

Trivia

• Despite being caring for Nightcrawler as a friend, she still retains feelings for her friend, Nighlock.
  • However, in Lilo & Stitch's Adventures, Twilight Sparkle's Adventures and other projects by Toonwriter, she is a lover of Nightcrawler.
• Shadowcat is very friendly, and is extremely protective of her friends and family.
• Shadowcat marries Nighlock in the end of Code Red's Adventures of Transformers Age of Extinction. A few years after this, they have two kids they name Jessica and James, or simply Jess and Jimmy.
• As Nighlock's husband in projects not written by Toonwriter, she is the Queen of the Mutant Republic as he is the King and founder.
• Shadowcat has an, Alicorn form like Nighlock.
