Lakitu is a Koopa who rides a cloud and drops spiny eggs on Mario or Luigi. In Mario Kart 7, he is introduced as a new playable racing character.
Appearance[]
he is a koopa who floats in a cloud. it sets him apart from regular Koopa Troopas. he is a bit fatter than the average koopa, but he still has yellow skin. He has no beak or shoes like the other koopas have, but it's ok that most of the time he is in his cloud, so you can't see his feet. he has 3 strands of hair and wears goggles, a green shell when he is a referee in Mario Kart or sports related games, but when he races his shell is red. That way you won't get confused.
Personality[]
Lakitu is diligent and hardworking, specializing in throwing Spiny Eggs, refereeing races, and even filming Mario's adventures. Other than that, he has opposite personalities. The referee lakitu is loud and confident, while the playable lakitu is clumsy, hesitant, and becomes hit easily.
Trivia[]
- The referee lakitu's goggles are shown to have temples and a headset, but the playable lakitu's goggles has straps instead.
- they appear to resemble softshell turtles, given the shape of their noses and the smoothness of their shells.
- Only very rarely, he tries to shirk work.
