Logan Meets Popeye the Sailor and Ali Baba's Forty Thieves is the third story in the Logan's Adventures series written by Logan "Hewylewis" Ridenbaugh and Bryce "The Wrestlemaniac" Kanyon and released in DeviantArt on November 26th, 2012.
Plot[]
Transported to Earth during the 1930s, Logan meets Popeye, Olive Oyl, and J. Wellington Wimpy while on a recruitment mission. Just then, they hear of Abu Hassan, the leader of the Forty Thieves, and his attack on a town in Arabia. Accidentally dragged along for the ride, Logan & his new friends fly there to capture him but their plane crashes as they enter a desert in Arabia.
After getting lost in the desert, the group happens upon the town where the Forty Thieves attack. The Thieves abduct Olive and Wimpy, and Abu Hassan leaves Logan and Popeye hanging from a chandelier after failing to win a battle of wits with him (During which, demonstrating a magic trick, Popeye relieves Hassan of his long underwear, remarking "Abu Hasn't got 'em any more!"). The duo manage to break free and take a camel to Ali Baba's secret cave, where, failing to remember the magic word of "open sesame!", Logan breaks in using his flame ability like a torch.
Inside the cave, Logan and Popeye sneak past the guards and attempts to free Olive and Wimpy. They confront Abu Hassan and demands that he give the Forty Thieves' stolen jewels back to the people. They are apprehended and thrown into a shark pit. Just before being eaten by a shark, Popeye tangles the shark's teeth together, and the shark goes back down into the water. Popeye then produces his spinach, opening it by commanding the can "open sez me!" Together with a superpowered Popeye, Logan defeats Abu Hassan, and all forty of the Thieves (Popeye counting them as they do so). The thieves and Hassan are chained and made to drag a cart filled with the stolen jewels, Logan, Popeye, Olive, and WImpy, back to town, where the townspeople await with open arms.
