Metal Sonic

Metal Sonic, also known as Hyper Metal Sonic, is Sonic's robotic clone created by Dr. Eggman (also known as Dr. Ivo Robotnik). His only goal is to obey Robotnik and destroy Pooh and friends, as well as Sonic.

He is one of Pooh's robotic enemies. He faced Pooh and his friends in Winnie the Pooh meets Sonic the Hedgehog.

Metal Sonic first appeared in Sonic CD, where he kidnapped Amy Rose. He battled Sonic at Stardust Speedway, before he accidentally ran into a wall at full speed, which instantly destroyed him.

This plot was continued in Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode Metal, where Eggman revived him, and sent him to defeat Sonic and Tails. However, he was no match for them both, and was defeated once again.

He was the main antagonist of Sonic Heroes. He disguised himself as Dr. Eggman to fool the four teams of heroes into coming to his base. However, he was finally defeated again by Super Sonic, Super Tails, and Super Knuckles.

Trivia

• Metal Sonic, along with Dr. Eggman, will join Bowser and his fellow villains as one of the Emerald Hunters in Pooh's Adventures Armada: Hunt for the Chaos Emeralds.
• Metal Sonic appears as a major antagonist in Sonic: Adventures in Equestria, him being one of Eggman's most royal minions, with his Neo Metal Sonic form being a separate entity. Here, Metal Sonic actually has a voice (with Roger Craig Smith providing it), and actually proves to be a formidable opponent. He originally wanted to defeat Sonic so he could prove that he is the real Sonic, with him stating in Siege of the Crystal Empire that he even wants to outright kill him to prove his superiority, however, after the events of The Cutie Re-Mark, Metal appears to have mellowed out a bit, having given up on proving who's the real Sonic, he also no longer wants to kill the blue blur, he just wants to beat him, kinda like what Knuckles wanted to do at first, he's also relatively more calm than before, regardless, he still continues to serve as Eggman's best troops in the Eggman Empire.
