Mighty the Armadillo is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He is a peaceful anthropomorphic armadillo with a passion for traveling. Though he dislikes violence and roughness, Mighty is more than capable of such when trouble arises.

- Mighty's first appearance was in an arcade game named SEGASonic the Hedgehog. He was one of three playable characters, the other two being Sonic and Ray.
- Mighty's design is based on one of SEGA's original character design ideas for Sonic himself.
