Papu Papu is one of the characters from Crash Bandicoot. He is a native to the Wumpa Islands, and is the leader of a village of natives.
He first appeared in Crash Bandicoot (1996) as the first boss villain character Crash meets. He attempts to defeat Crash by attacking him with his staff, but he is counter attacked by Crash, who quickly defeats him.
He is a playable villain character in Crash Team Racing, and is a boss character in the game's story (the same applies to Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled, as it is a modern-day remake of Crash Team Racing).
He later appears in Crash Twinsanity, when he demands his servants to kidnap Dr. Cortex. Once Crash rescues Cortex, Papu Papu's minions chase Crash out of the village.
