Fox McCloud is the space hero commander in the Star Fox series. He is the leader of the Star Fox team. As his name says, he is an anthropromorphic red fox. He and his fellow teammates, Falco Lombardi, Peppy Hare and Slippy Toad are an independant mercenary-for-hire unit who patrol the Lylat System and take care of unwanted activity. Fox is also a great friend of Kyle the Otter, the leader of the FT Squad, and Simba, king of the Pride Lands.

- Fox McCloud made his first guest appearance in The FT Squad's Adventures in The Lion King.
- Fox will also star as the main character in Pooh's Adventures in Star Fox 64. Joining him and his team will be Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Rabbit, Eeyore, the FT Squad, Simba, Nala, Timon, Pumbaa, Louis the alligator and Reese Ambler.
- Fox, along with the rest of Star Fox, guest starred in The FT Squad's Adventures in The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride and later will in The FT Squad Rides on the Magic School Bus.
- Fox will star in Star Fox's Adventures in The Lion King 1 1/2.
- Fox will join Emerl & his team after the battle with the Aparoid Queen in Team Robot In Star Fox Assault.
