Grand King Ghidorah is a giant three-headed dragon Kaiju and the main antagonist of Rebirth of Ryan III.
History

Cretaceous King Ghidorah
An ancient destroyer, Cretaceous King Ghidorah ruled during the age of the dinosaurs, feasting on the large reptiles to his wicked content. However, his reign was interrupted by the Rainbow Powered Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Applejack, and Fluttershy, who had traveled 130 million years into the past to engage the younger Ghidorah. As the Rainbow Powered Mane Six had hoped, this creature was weaker than his present day incarnation, as their beams were able to do considerable damage to the prehistoric monster, even severing one of his tails. Unfortunately for the Mane Six, Cretaceous King Ghidorah ended up being far more powerful than anticipated, as the three headed beast blasted them with a volley of fire balls. The creature then moved in to continue the assault, viciously shredding Twilight's Alicorn wings with his jagged fangs. Having gained the upper hand, Ghidorah tossed Twilight to the ground to join her defeated friends and lets loose with another series of blasts against his defeated foes. The battle seems nearly won, as the young King of the Terror stands tall over the fallen Mane Six. However, the Mane Six, spotting a nearby volcano, make one more desperate offensive as they rush forward to grasp the three headed monster by his central neck. The Mane Six, with their cargo in tow, then fly directly into the volcano, dropping their foe at such a low altitude that he can't possibly escape in time before sinking into the molten lava. Yet, Cretaceous King Ghidorah's tyranny was not over, as the nearby tail that the Mane Six had severed earlier buried itself beneath the Earth's crust, preparing to regenerate its body in order to eventually grow into Grand King Ghidorah.
Grand King Ghidorah
One hundred thirty million years later, Cretaceous King Ghidorah arose again as Grand King Ghidorah. Grand King Ghidorah came to Equestria in a meteor to feed on equines, mainly children, but he soon started to eat adults. Grand King Ghidorah built a dome in the Mount Everhoof area where he kept his victims and absorbed their life forces. The Mane Six and Ryan heard of this monster and they quickly took action to defeat it. Even with all of the Mane Six and Ryan's powers, Grand King Ghidorah quickly defeated them. The Mane Six touched down nearby, but were healed and traveled back to the Cretaceous period to defeat King Ghidorah's younger form. When they destroyed Cretaceous King Ghidorah, Grand King Ghidorah had vanished and it appeared the Mane Six had been victorious. However, Grand King Ghidorah reappeared in the sky and resumed his reign of terror, having regenerated from the tail the Mane Six had left behind millions of years ago.
Trivia
- He is the first villain to defeat the Mane Six.
- Because Grand King Ghidorah was stronger than his Cretaceous younger form, he defeats Ryan in Round 1, making him the third villain to defeat Ryan, the first being Starscream and the second being Desghidorah.
