Lady Tremaine

Lady Tremaine.

Lady Tremaine is the main villain in Winnie the Pooh Meets Cinderella.

Bio[]

Lady Termaine's decent into evil began after she married her husband, Sir Francis Tremaine, Master of the Mercer's Guild, and had her two daughters, Anastasia and Drizella. After her husband died, she was blinded from the love of the world and decided she would only marry in order to benefit her daughters. She only sought to marry her daughters off to powerful men in order to grow her social standing, believing that true love and dreams weren't real.

Once Cinderella's father lost his wife, he remarried to Lady Tremaine in order to give Cinderella and himself happiness once again. Lady Tremaine attempted to bring laughter and happiness back to the estate she and her family lived in by hosting lavish parties and get-togethers complete with wine and gambling. However, during one party, she overheard Cinderella's father tell Cinderella of how he missed his first wife, causing Lady Tremaine to see her in Cinderella, inciting her jealousy to Cinderella's beauty and charm. As a result, she practically made Cinderella a servant around the chateau, especially once her father had passed away.

All of the money that Cinderella's father left was wasted on Lady Tremaine's stepdaughters, and the chateau fell into disrepair. During this financial crisis, the servant staff was dismissed, leaving Cinderella to do all the chores herself. Though Lady Tremaine was a cruel task master to Cinderella, she frequently reminded her own daughters of grace and self control. However, on occasion, she lost control of her own temper. Soon, a royal message arrived at the chateau, announcing that there was to be a royal ball that night and all the women in the kingdom were summoned, that included Lady Tremaine and her family. Ultimately, she let her own daughters tear Cinderella's dress apart and they went to the ball without her. At the palace, Lady Tremaine was pleased that her daughters had the chance to present themselves before the prince, however, during their meeting, the prince was mesmerized by a mystery girl in a beautiful dress. That girl, unknown to Lady Tremaine or her daughters, was Cinderella.

However, at the stroke of midnight, Cinderella left the ball as per orders by her fairy godmother hours prior. The prince and his father the king frantically began searching for the mystery girl after finding one of the glass slippers on the stair way, knowing that whoever would fit the glass slipper was the mystery girl from the ball and the one the prince was destined to marry. But when the duke arrived at the Tremaine chateau, Lady Tremaine locked Cinderella in her room so that she wouldn't be able to try the slipper on her foot. Ultimately, Cinderella managed to reveal her identity as the girl from the ball after revealing she had the other slipper when Lady Tremaine deliberately destroyed the first. This horrified both Lady Tremaine and her daughters as Cinderella was on her way to her own happy ending.

The timeline split[]

Timeline in Cinderella II[]

Afterwards, Lady Tremaine became more cold and cruel to her own daughters, forbidding Anastasia from speaking to a simple baker in the village, her true love, or even entering his bakery. However, she went against her mother's wishes and followed her heart.

Timeline in Cinderella III[]

One night, Lady Tremaine found a chance at her own happy ending. After Anastasia found Cinderella's Fairy Godmother and stole her wand, Lady Tremaine undid Cinderella's happily ever after and puts Anastasia in Cinderella's place to marry the prince, revealing her willingness to do anything to succeed. She even showed her willingness to try and kill Cinderella and physically abuse Anastasia when she went against her orders. Ultimately Anastasia decided to stand up for her stepsister and stop Lady Tremaine's plan by not pretending to be something she's not, the cruel woman then decided to turn both of them into frogs using the Fairy Godmother's wand. However, the prince reflected the magic back to her and Drizella with his sword. They soon returned to human form, however, and were reduced to scullery maids, indicating that Lady Tremaine was stripped of any and all nobility and/or wealth she had acquired and was forced to be a servant like she made Cinderella into for the rest of her life.

However, she and Drizella were freed from this very fate by Bowser if they pledged their loyalty to him in exchange for revenge against Pooh and his friends, which they did.
