Toby is an old steam tram and one of Thomas' Friends who made his first appearnce in Pooh's Adventures of Thomas And The Magic Railroad where he helped Thomas, Pooh Bear and their friends find the Lost Engine Lady before Diesel 10 does.

Toby along with Thomas, James, Percy and Emily were going to be guest starring in Pooh and Ash's Adventures of Scooby-Doo: Halloween Hassle at Dracula's Castle.

Toby is also Applejack's boyfriend and private engine.
